United Kingdom Supreme Court Judge joins P.R.I.M.E. Finance Panel of Experts
UK Supreme Court Justice Lord Collins of Mapesbury joins P.R.I.M.E Finance Foundation as a dispute settlement expert when he steps down from his remaining duties at the Supreme Court. The panel, which begins work in January, will provide a sophisticated support service for both mature and developing financial markets – offering arbitration, expert opinion and training to resolve some of the markets’ most complex legal cases.
Lord Collins of Mapesbury, LLD, FBA, is former Justice of the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom; Honorary Professor, Faculty of Law, University College London; Emeritus Fellow, Wolfson College, Cambridge; General Editor, Dicey, Morris & Collins on the Conflict of Laws; formerly a partner in Herbert Smith, solicitors (UK)
Professor Jeffrey Golden, Chairman of P.R.I.M.E Finance Foundation, said: ‘Lord Collins has almost unrivalled judicial knowledge and is a vastly experienced commercial lawyer – we are fortunate indeed that he is able to join us.’
